The Cho Group is pleased to announce that its founder and chairman, Michael Honsue Cho, has won the defamation suit against Mr Mark Thomas, the editor-in-chief of an online gossip site, Uspiked.com.

The District Court of Queensland ordered Mr Thomas to pay compensatory damages in the amount of $350,000 to Mr Cho, which includes aggravated damages.

The court also issued an injunction to prevent Mr Thomas from republishing the defamatory articles or publish content that is substantially similar in those articles.

Mr Thomas could be held in contempt of court if he fails to comply with the court’s ruling.
